Why I Came to Deviant Art

As a creative, I found myself searching for likeminded communities outside of the more mainstream social media platforms. I joined Wattpad over the summer and immediately felt welcomed and at home there. I also found community in a few Facebook groups for writers. I thought that I had found community in a large Facebook art group and on Instagram but didn’t quite feel at home within these communities so they left me looking for more, looking for that at-home feeling.
